Spring 2009 – Jump Start Your Year!

It’s no Pond Guy Peer Group – It’s BETTER!

We are planning a late Winter/early Spring 2009 event that will focus on getting a great start to a busy season and staying that way all year long!

Tentatively a two day event, we will cover several aspects of cost-effective Marketing, new Aquascape products, water feature FAQ regarding care and installation,  and trends in the industry. As always, we will discuss the challenges of being a woman in a male dominated industry and how to better manage our very busy lives.

If you are interested in organizing, hosting, or sponsoring this event at your location, please contact us. It would be a great opportunity for any distributor or retail outlet to connect with professionals and give back to the industry!

Breaking the Barrier in Personal & Business Growth

Our first meeting was held on April 3rd, 2007, during Water Garden Excellence at Aqualand in St. Charles, IL. Our inaugural meeting was an all-day event and featured an agenda titled Breaking the Barrier in Personal & Business Growth, put together by Judy Harvey that included the following:

  • Personality Profile and Sales
  • Nurturing and Redefining your Partnership
  • Identifying your Strengths
  • Photography – Taking great pictures of ponds & waterfalls to create a professional photo album.
  • Web Sites – The benefits of a great site and presenting your company professionally online.

All of these sessions were presented by members of our group. Special thanks to Judy Guido for taking time to visit and participate with us throughout the day. Also thank you to Greg Wittstock and all those at Aquascape who provided us with accommodations for the day.
